The Tax Administration received 1204 declarations of property exceeding the value of 20 million dinars
Starting from 3 November 2003, the Tax Administration received 1204 declarations for the registration of property exceeding the total value of 20 million dinars, declared Ms. Marija Drca-Ugren, Director of the Tax Administration, on the occasion of a press conference, last Monday.
She also added that the dead line for the property declaration submission expired on 31. October, and that some additional declarations might still arrive through the postal service system. The payment of the tax should not represent any kind of punishment, nor an occasion for speculations through the media, but a normal obligation of conscientious citizens of a normal country, said Ms. Drca-Ugren.
The Head of the Tax Administration also confirmed that last Saturday, tax payment decisions, of a total apportioned tax amount of 24.9 million dinars, had been delivered to the former Serbian Government employees – Mr. Nemanja Kolesar and Mr. Zoran Janjusevic, who now have a 15 days deadline to settle their legal fiscal obligation.
Ms. Marija Drca-Ugren, Director of the Tax Administration, refuted statements by certain media according to which the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Ms. Milica Bisic, had resigned from her position.
