Tax declarations on property exceeding the value of 20 million dinars

The Minister of finance and economy, Mr. Bozidar Djelic informed the public that all the citizens, living here or abroad, owning property of a value exceeding 20 million dinars, will have untill June 30th to declare it to the Fiscal Administration, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Fiscal proceeding and the Fiscal Administration. The property declaration forms, that will be available starting from May 26th in all branch-offices of the Fiscal Administration, are also provided on the Internet site of our Ministry.

The Minister of finance and economy, Mr. Bozidar Djelic informed the public that all the citizens, living here or abroad, owning property of a value exceeding 20 million dinars, will have untill June 30th to declare it to the Fiscal Administration, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Fiscal proceeding and the Fiscal Administration. The property declaration forms, that will be available starting from May 26th in all branch-offices of the Fiscal Administration, are also provided on the Internet site of our Ministry.

Minister Djelic also announced that all the citizens who would resort to the tax evasion, would be targets of the fiscal police.

Ms. Milica Bisic, Deputy Minister of finance and economy, explained that the Article 186. of the Law on fiscal proceeding stipulates the obligation for every citizen to submit these declarations, and also added that persons owning property of a value exceeding 10 million dinars should also submit the said declaration.

After June 30th, the
Fiscal Administration will be given a three months deadline to check and approve all the citizens declarations. First information on the number of filed taxpayers should be available by the beginning of July.

A special team will be assigned to the declaration checking process. The information on tax declaration are secret, but the information on property and all unpaid tax duties of those who failed to declare it, shall be made public, announced Minister Djelic.
