Serbian Finance Minister on the World Economic Forum session

The Minister of finance and economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Bozidar Djelic, will participate – from June 21st to 23rd, to the extraordinary annual session of the World Economic Forum (Davos) taking place in Amman (Jordan). Under the patronage of the King of Jordan, Abdul Hussein II, the Session will be dedicated to the reconstruction and reconciliation in the Middle East.

Minister Djelic – proclaimed in 2002. by the World Economic Forum among the future world leaders, will present the Serbian economic reforms experience as a model for the reconstruction of Iraq, the State of Palestine and other countries in the Middle East region. The Minister will also make inquiries on the possibilities of Serbian companies participation to the reconstruction in the region.

Among 1600 delegates who will attend the Session, there will be Collin Powel, Igor Ivanov, Joschka Fischer, Kofi Anan, Bill Clinton, as well as other Presidents and Prime Ministers from the region and worldwide.
