Mr. Bozidar Djelic at the Strategies for a New Europe Forum in Vienna
Mr. Bozidar Djelic, Serbian Finance Minister, is to participate at the meeting „Strategies for a New Europe“, which is to be held today and tomorrow in Vienna, at the „Intercontinental“ Hotel, where finance ministers and economic experts from all over Europe will discuss strategies on strengthening the economy in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
The aim of this Conference is to examine the possibilities for continuation of growth of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as to discuss the way rapprochement to the EU could provide necessary help to the economies of the Region.
On the first day of the Forum, after Minister Djelic’s expose within a panel discussion group, a round table workshop on the topic „Investment Opportunities in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia“ is scheduled to take place.
Besides Minister Djelic, among officials attending this Forum, as announced, there will be the former UN Secretary General Special Emissary for the Balkans, Mr. Carl Bilt, finance ministers of Croatia, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania, as well as many other representatives of financial institutions.
