Department for Programming & Management of EU Funds and Development Assistance

The Department for Programming and Management of EU Funds and Development Assistance executes tasks related with:

  1. coordinating with competent public administration bodies and organizations in order to define departmental and intradepartmental strategies and priorities and to select relevant projects and programs that should be financed from donations and development assistance, including European Union funds and other bilateral and multilateral resources;
  2. informing donors about priority projects and programs;
  3. cooperating with donors on aligning donors’ priorities with those of the Republic of Serbia, participating in preparation of donor strategies, planning and execution of programs and projects that are financed from the EU funds, donations and development assistance;
  4. monitoring execution of projects and programs via reports submitted by donors and beneficiaries of EU funds, donations and development assistance.

The Department for Programming and Management of EU Funds and Development Assistance comprises two specialized internal units:

Division for Programming and Coordination of EU Funds and Development Assistance
- Group for Coordination and Programming of European Union Funds
- Group for Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Reporting


Division for Management of Cross-Border, Transnational and Regional Cooperation Programs

- Group for Cross-Border Cooperation Programs with EU Member States
- Group for Cross-Border Cooperation Programs with EU Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries
- Group for Maintenance and Development of Information Systems (ISDAKON) related with Monitoring of EU Funds, Donations and Development Assistance
